Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using the Zoaria platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our Service. Zoaria is operated in accordance with Bulgarian law and EU regulations.

2. Description of Service

Zoaria provides a digital platform connecting pet owners with veterinary professionals and pet care service providers. The platform includes pet health record management, appointment booking, messaging, vaccination reminders, and educational content. Zoaria acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not itself a veterinary service provider.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must immediately notify Zoaria of any unauthorized use of your account. Users must be at least 18 years of age to register.

4. Pet Owner Responsibilities

Pet owners are responsible for the accuracy of all pet health information entered into the platform. Zoaria does not provide veterinary medical advice. Information on the platform is for record-keeping and organizational purposes only. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical decisions.

5. Veterinary Professional Responsibilities

Veterinary professionals must hold valid licenses in their jurisdiction and must upload accurate verification documents. Providers are solely responsible for the professional advice, diagnosis, and treatment they provide. Zoaria verifies document submission but does not independently validate professional credentials.

6. Payments and Fees

Payments for services are processed securely through Stripe. Zoaria charges a platform fee on transactions. Refund policies are subject to the individual provider's terms and applicable EU consumer protection law. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Zoaria processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Pet health data is treated as sensitive information and is stored with appropriate security measures. You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data at any time.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use Zoaria to provide false or misleading information, to impersonate veterinary professionals without valid credentials, to engage in unauthorized data collection, to transmit harmful or malicious code, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.

9. Limitation of Liability

Zoaria is not liable for the quality of veterinary services provided by professionals on the platform, for any medical outcomes resulting from advice given through the platform, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Changes to Terms

Zoaria reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and applicable EU regulations. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bulgaria, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.
